The ResortLindvallen and Högfjallet are part of the Salen area located in the north of the county of Dalarna. The resort has one of the largest and most popular skiing systems in Scandinavia. There are no sizeable towns nearby but as Scandinavia's largest and most popular ski resort there are plenty of things to do.
The
Skiing This means that your ski package need not be restricted to the very costly February half term. The resort guarantees that it will open a minimum of fifteen slopes during this period. The Lindvallen/Högfjallet complex has 58 slopes and 47 lifts that can lift over 42,000 skiers/snowboarders per hour, with a range of accommodation from hotels to small chalets as befits a resort of this size. Lindvallen is ideal for beginners as well as for intermediate skiers. Where is it?

Accomodation
The accommodation is all privately owned and rented out for the season and is of an exceptionally high standard, with shower and toilets as well as a fridge and a TV. Many of the larger chalets will be fitted with a sauna. Most accommodation in Lindvallen is rented out from Sunday through to Sunday or Friday to Friday, which may affect the dates you wish to travel. We recommend that before choosing Lindvallen as a resort you speak to our office staff first. Après Ski
The resort has facilities for bowling and there is a cinema, a gymnasium and an internet café. There is a range of restaurants and fast food establishments that provide for all tastes. Many of the larger chalets are ideal meeting places for your students in the evening and can be used for impromptu discos and quiz evenings. Current Snow Conditions

The accommodation ranges from top hotels
through to smaller cabins, all of which are of an excellent standard. The
chalets/cabins normally used for school groups will accommodate from 4 up to 10
students and are situated so that skiing to your door is the norm.
